Project Manager Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires effective communication as well as a solid understanding of the construction industry.

Duties

  • Coordinate project activities, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and project specifications.
  • Support the preparation of construction estimates and budgets, collaborating with project managers to ensure accuracy.
  • Review schematics and plans to understand project requirements and facilitate execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying any potential issues or delays, and proposing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain organized documentation related to contracts, schedules, and project changes using software.
  • Communicate regularly with team members, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and contract management processes.
  • Ability to read blueprints effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
