Marketing & Media Coordinator (Intern, Sep - Dec)

The American News Women's Club (ANWC), founded in 1932 to support trailblazing women in journalism, is looking for a part-time administrative marketing and media intern to support the activities from the Club’s historic headquarters (On Embassy Row near Dupont Circle) that include: organizing exciting Club programs, working with distinguished members and promoting the Club's work; Also includes updating membership rolls, and back office support of Clubhouse activities. You will work closely with the ANWC Board and VIP leadership to organize programs, events, fundraising from time to time and coordinate and implement social media campaigns. Seeking proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Canva, Square Space, database management and social media platforms. This position will start end of August - mid December and consist of approximately 8-15 hours/week TBD. We will work with your schedule. (Contract $18- $20 per hour as agreed.) Work will be mostly on-site, occasional hybrid, formulated as needed with option to extend through Spring. Two training days required in August before official start date.
