Digital Content Internship

Position Summary:  

The Digital Content Internship is an educational opportunity that will allow you to apply the concepts that you learn in class to a working design studio.  The internship position is for college students studying advertising, integrated marketing, public relations, journalism, communications, or similar degree paths.  Creative tracks or graphic art minors preferred.  This program will provide a unique perspective on client communications, social media content strategy and creative design work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Reports to the founder of a design studio. 

 

This position is an in-person internship with regular  in-person meetings with the design studio’s founder.  

  

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing the studio’s interactions with the public through implementing content strategies on social media platform, blog posts, and subscription list
  • Analyzing engagement data, and tracking/reporting analytics through monthly audits
  • Identifying social media trends and competitor strategies
  • Collaborating with business development and production teams to post timely content regarding client work
  • Creating an integrated social media content calendar to share:
  • Studio news, awards, recognitions
  • Posts for important days & holidays
  • Website content and blog
  • Designing branded graphics and photography as needed
  • Assisting with client design work as needed
  • Assisting with product photography as needed 
  • Managing organizational and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year university (or graduate program) with a major in marketing, business, communication, or related field.
  • Students are not required to earn internship credit to participate, but can do so if they choose, once selected for the position. If you are interested in earning credit, please let us know during the hiring process.

  • Resourceful and able to think creatively 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in using social media applications such as Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, etc. 

Preferred  Competencies:

  • Comfortable appearing in social media content as a brand representative  (e.g., reels, tik-toks, etc.)
  • Proficient in using Adobe Suite
