Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Management Intern to support the facilities repair and maintenance function of our IT Help Desk team. This internship provides hands-on experience in managing repairs and maintenance operations, maintenance schedules, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized, and eager to learn the ins and outs of facilities management in a dynamic work environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in daily oversight of building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.
- Help track and manage maintenance requests and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support the IT Help Desk team in coordinating with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Help ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Update facility records, manuals, floor plans, and emergency procedures.

- Currently pursuing a degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with facility management software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of building systems and safety procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and willingness to take initiative.
