Logistics 3PL Coordinator
The Logistics 3PL Coordinator plays a critical role in optimizing plant operations through advanced data analysis, Excel modeling, and cross-functional coordination. This role supports all departments — including Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, etc. — by managing outbound logistics, auditing inventory accuracy, and providing high-level reporting and insights. Essential Functions:
- Serve as a cross-departmental operations liaison, supporting plant leadership and multiple business units through timely data reporting and process coordination.
- Use advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, macros, conditional formatting, and data visualization) to track shipments, reconcile inventory, and forecast performance metrics.
- Audit and process all shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, commercial invoices, and ASN reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain proactive communication with 3PL partners and carriers to monitor container status, deliveries, and returns, resolving discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
- Develop and maintain logistics dashboards to identify trends, delays, and cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain.
- Support periodic cycle counts, variance investigations, and inventory reconciliation for outbound and finished goods.
- Analyze order data to identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements that increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams — Sales, Finance, and Warehouse — to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Assist in preparing monthly KPIs, shipment cost analysis, and budget reports for leadership review.
- Perform other data and operations-related projects as assigned.
