Bartender/Server

Full service, neighborhood pizza emporium with global visibility seeks an experienced bartender/server delivering exceptional hospitality to join our pizza-loving family.

Multiple full-time, part-time and seasonal FOH positions available.

ServSafe and TIPS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Welcome and engage with customers, take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure their overall satisfaction.
  • Table Service: Deliver food orders accurately, attend to customer needs, and maintain a courteous and attentive approach throughout their experience
  • Order Processing: Utilise the point-of-sale system (Toast) to input orders, process payments, and manage bills effectively.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Familiarise yourself with the alcohol menu and ingredients to assist customers with questions and provide accurate information.
  • Bar Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the bar area, ensuring proper stocking of glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Adhere to hygiene and safety guidelines, including proper food and beverage handling, to create a safe and clean environment.
  • Customer Feedback: Address any customer inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Training and Development: Participate in provided training to expand your knowledge of beverage and food offerings.

 

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a server or bartender preferred
  • Interest in cocktail preparation and a willingness to learn preparing basic cocktails
  • Strong customer service orientation with a personable and approachable attitude
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage yourself
  • Basic cooking and food preparation skills
  • Basic understanding of point-of-sale systems and cash handling. Toast and OpenTable experience a big plus!
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude, especially during peak hours
  • Responsible alcohol service
  • Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • High school diploma or equivalent
