Part-Time Chapter & Member Services Position
The Tau Beta Pi Association, the International Engineering Honor Society, is searching for a team member who is hard working, detail-oriented, and familiar with routine office work. The International Headquarters consists of 15 people and supports an initiated membership of 640,000 with 258 collegiate chapters and 55 alumni chapters in 16 districts across the world. The Part-Time Chapter & Member Services position is a key role within Tau Beta Pi, dedicated to providing exceptional support and service to our members. This position involves handling and resolving member inquiries; processing member merchandise orders and chapter supply requests; and ensuring a positive member experience with the Association.
Key Duties
- Support Online Store
- Process orders and supply requests including picking, packaging, and shipping
- Member Services Support
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions, transactions, and communications
- Administrative/Office Support
- Complete data entry projects as assigned by supervisor
- Handle clerical tasks as assigned
- Filing and archival of Association documents
- Maintain office files and records
- Scan and electronically file documents
Required Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Docs and Sheets
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, phone, keyboard, copy machine, and scanner.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required

The position pays $15 per hour for 10-20 hours per week. The work schedule is flexible, but employees are asked to work in shifts of no less than 4 hours. Paid campus parking may be available.
The position starts immediately. Position may be extended for additional academic terms.
