Location: Remote (U.S. only; Greater Los Angeles or Pacific Time Zone preferred but not required)
Employment Type: Full‑Time (40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday)
Compensation: $20/hour + health benefits

PodSearch Advertising is a rapidly growing company specializing in podcast advertising. We provide comprehensive, end‑to‑end services — planning, executing, monitoring, optimizing, and scaling podcast ad campaigns for a wide range of brands directly as well as other advertising agencies who depend on us to create campaigns for their clients. Our media planning/buying division works with many thousands of podcasts and hundreds of networks to identify ad buy opportunities in order to build strategic plans that deliver impactful advertising results.

About the Role

The Media Planning Assistant supports PodSearch Advertising’s media planners and buyers by researching podcasts, gathering show data, and organizing information into client‑ready proposals. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and enthusiastic about the podcast space. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in regular Zoom presentations from podcast networks to gather intel on shows.
  • Conduct independent research to identify podcast opportunities aligned with client goals.
  • Communicate with podcast networks and individual publishers to obtain accurate show data, audience details, and host information.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Team to evaluate multiple campaign paths and align recommendations with client objectives.
  • Compile all required information into clean, accurate proposal formats and deliver materials on deadline.
  • Support the Planning Team with other projects as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel formulas and formatting, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment while being self‑motivated, proactive, reliable, and accountable
  • Highly organized with the ability to track, compile, and manage large volumes of information from multiple sources
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow‑through
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting
  • Reliable high‑speed internet and phone service (monthly reimbursement provided)
  • Familiarity with podcasts as a listener 
  • Familiarity with any form of digital advertising is a strong plus
