Student Content Creator / Journalist / Business Development (Part-Time)

ProMazo is seeking a part-time student journalist with a passion for interviewing executives and sharing career-related content with a collegiate student audience. A successful candidate will have excellent writing skills, experience conducting interviews, and a strong interest in business and career development. Someone interested in journalism or content would be ideal, but anyone with the above skills looking to build their network will be looked at.

In this position, you will work directly with our founder reaching out to, securing, preparing for, and running interviews. All interviews will be conducted virtually, so this position is remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct interviews with executives from a variety of industries and backgrounds
  • Write engaging and informative copywrite/articles based on the interviews, focusing on career development and related topics
  • Pitch ideas for interviewees and content to the editorial team
  • Edit and revise content as needed
  • Ensure all content is accurate, timely, and relevant to the target audience
  • Work collaboratively with the editorial team to ensure content meets editorial standards and aligns with ProMazo's mission

Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong interviewing skills
  • Understanding of business and career development topics
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms

Additional Requirements:

  • 8-12 hours of weekly availability (content team will meet 3 times a week)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to accommodate interviewees (will work around your class schedule)
  • Must be able to work remotely

Pay:

Is competitive and will range based on skill set $15-$16 an hour

This is a part-time internship with a flexible schedule, paying a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build their portfolio and gain valuable experience in journalism and content creation.
