Reports To: Director of Finance
Essential Functions:
- Processes requests from students, colleges/universities, and employment agencies for the purpose of providing required information such as transcripts.
- Maintain an organized Records Storage Building where files, documents and student record hardcopies are kept.
- Comply with student record-keeping retention and destruction as required by law.
- Assist Accounts Payable with purchase orders/pay cards.
- Process daily mail.
- Collect retiree health insurance payments and maintain a ledger of payments received.
- Responsible for balancing Insurance account and various other reconciliations.
- Assist in Food Service data management and reporting as needed.
- Various other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience desired: Wide range of clerical experience and some degree of accounting experience (School setting experience preferred, but not required).
Other requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills, oral and written skills, time management, good attendance record and telephone skills
- Professional and friendly customer service skills
- Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
- Ability to learn and navigate accounting software.
- Adept at using various office machines and computer equipment.
- Some typing ability.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates.
- Must successfully pass a background check that is satisfactory to the Board of Education
