Business Support Specialist
Job Summary:
The Business Support Specialist for Procurement & Supply Chain Americas provides high-level administrative support to the VP P&SC Americas and coordination to the organization. In addition to administrative duties and executive support, this individual will be coordinating and working on special projects. Manages non-routine correspondence and assembles highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of important external stakeholders and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload as well as recommend changes in office practices or procedures.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Plans and organizes general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc.
- Creates and develops visual presentations, including management of organizational alignment.
- Manages confidential and non-routine information on a regular basis. Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters.
- Schedules and organizes complex activities such as business schedules, meetings, conferences, travel, planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information and other departmental activities.
- Establishes and maintains filing system for Purchase orders.
- Responsible for analyzing the time schedule for the VP P&SC Americas and take action when prioritization/corrective measures are necessary.
- Operate according to company compliance standards, terms, instructions, and business needs.
- Create, maintain, and provide accurate up-to-date data and reports as requested by the Executive Leadership Team.
- Provide information regarding project updates and status reports.
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Excellent computer skills in all office programs, proficient in Excel
- Broad global business perspective and understanding
