Options Intake & Screening Specialist

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive telephone screenings for program applicants.
  • Provide information and assistance to potential Options/National Caregiver Support clients.
  • Make referrals for more in depth assessments.
  • Enter consumer date into the database management system.
  • Assist with the maintenance and update of required program information.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited two year college or a combination of a high school education and experience working for a social service agency or department;
  • Considerable knowledge of the Options/National Caregiver Support (NFCS) programs including types of services provided, eligibility requirements, existing capacity to serve clients;
  • Good interviewing and assessment skills;
  • Good organizational, interpersonal, and decision making skills; or
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Valid TN driver license.
