These positions serve as Natural Resources Specialists in the Branch of Surface use for the Green River District.

  • Performs basic assignments including a variety of professional and technical functions related to natural resource management.
  • Assists other specialists with analysis of inventory data to identify impacts or concerns.
  • Trains with other specialists on efforts to plan, carry out and report field inventories.
  • Learns to utilize programs such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Database Management Systems.
  • Works on an interdisciplinary team to address natural resources issues related to oil and gas production activities.
  • Collects basic data to assist in the permitting of various types of surface activities in fluid mineral exploration and development.
