Duties
As a Museum Curator, you will perform the following duties:
Provide professional and technical direction for the museum collection programs.
Plan and develop recommendations for programming priorities of museum management functions.
Maintain records and documentation for museum collections.
Conduct research to identify and/or authenticate museum objects.
Maintain proper preservation, security and fire protection, and collection storage conditions and manage an integrated pest management program.
Plan and implement curatorial procedures for on-site and outside exhibits. Conduct presentations in parks, public gatherings, and professional meetings.
