Packaging Production Team Member
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packaging Team Member to join our production team. The successful candidate will be part of the team that ensures our products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and to the highest standards of quality. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, adhering to food safety and company standards, and contributing to the overall success of our packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect products for quality and consistency before packaging.
- Assemble, label, and seal packages accurately and efficiently.
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment according to company standards and procedures.
- Monitor the packaging process to maintain efficiency and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation and safety protocols.
- Report any issues with machinery, equipment, or packaging materials to the supervisor promptly.
- Ensure that packaging materials are stocked and readily available.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packaging equipment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including food safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a packaging or food production environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Must be open to learning, growing and be willing to make continuous improvement suggestions. Food safety certification preferred but not necessary. Experience preferred but not necessary.
Business operation is Monday - Saturday, and this is a full-time position that may include overtime. The Packaging team works mainly Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00AM - 4:00PM.
