Back Waiter
New Orleans Country Club is looking for a Back Waiter to join the team!
Established in 1914, New Orleans Country Club is a full-service, private country club offering golf, tennis, fitness, food and beverage (a la carte dining and banquets) and swimming to our members and their guests.

Job Summary: Sets and cleans dining room tables before, during, and after meal service.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspects the service station prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Restocks service station with additional supplies throughout the shift as necessary.
- Follows set-up procedures.
- Assists servers in their tasks.
- Assists with putting outdoor cushions in seating areas.
- Serves water and butter as guests are seated.
- Replenishes water, iced tea, and butter during the meal.
- Assists in carrying food trays to tables.
- Removes soiled dishes from table; brings to dish washing area.
- Removes soiled linen and replaces with clean linen.
- Sets tables with silverware, glassware and other items.
- Cleans dining room areas.
- Stocks servers’ station with supplies.
- Collects trash from the dining rooms and other specified places after each serving period.
- Dusts chairs before and after meals.
- Keeps ice bins filled.
- Cleans and properly store high chair and booster seats.
- Brews and prepares tea and coffee.

The Club is open 6 days a week (Tuesday - Sunday) from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM for lunch service, and 5:30 PM - 10:00 PM for dinner service. Our front of house team (servers, back servers, and bartenders) work on a split shift. The Club provides different styles of food and beverage service based on the day of the week, including but not limited to Happy Hour, Brunch Buffet, and Market Grille evenings.
Qualifications
New Orleans Country Club will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Any offer of employment is conditional upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a restaurant or food & beverage setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours at one time.
- Fine dining experience preferred.
