The Wheeler Mansion, an upscale landmark boutique hotel that thrives with the help of our small, but extremely talented staff. We are located In the heart of Chicago. Our team is seeking a graduate or underclassmen for summer employment with the opportunity to continue based on performance.

Requirements

Acknowledge all guest in the public areas with a warm, friendly greeting and smile.
Posses a working knowledge of reservation department, cancellation policy, workflow to create a reservation for same day and all future reservations.
Knows the room locations, room description, room style, rooms available to sell and rate daily.
Coordinates room status with housekeeping of all checkin, checkouts, and refresh rooms, special request or early arrivals.
Inspects rooms to assure all electrical items are working and rooms are clean properly.
Report any damage, broken or not operating.
Resolve all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Performs other duties assigned in relations to the hotel.
Answer phone in a timely manner with enthusiasm and professionalism
Assist as a concierge.
-Perform serving breakfast and cleanup duties as necessary.
-Work high-end special events.
