Food Production Internship

At GoodLove Foods, we are passionate about producing high-quality, gluten-free frozen foods and are seeking dedicated Food Production Interns to join our growing team over the summer. This is a hands-on position that plays a vital role in our production process, ensuring we meet our rigorous standards for food safety and product excellence.

We are hiring immediately Full-time Summer Interns with a standard work week of Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in various stages of the food production process, including mixing dough, processing dough (e.g., shaping, cutting), and preparing products for freezing.
• Perform packaging tasks for finished frozen goods, ensuring accurate labeling and adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a consistent pace and attention to detail throughout the production line to meet daily production targets.
• Engage in repetitive movements and some heavy lifting as required by the specific tasks.
• Strictly adhere to all food safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Contribute to maintaining the overall quality of our products by carefully observing and reporting any deviations or issues.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and a positive work environment.
• Follow instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing the production areas as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in high volume food production, i.e. restaurant, hospitality, manufacturing, is a plus; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform some heavy lifting.
• Strong commitment to following safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
