Events Operations Specialist

As the Events Operations Specialist, you will assist with the overall management of Lawlor’s game-site business by ensuring both the operation and commerce are successful. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Responsible for getting merchandise to and from game-site locations, includes selecting merchandise, packing/unpacking, setup and tear down of the store.
  • Be the point of contact between Lawlor’s and our partners at games and facilitating our existing relationships
  • Ensures availability of merchandise at the retail store (84th St.) and game-site locations
  • Be able to work nights and weekends during games with minimal supervision to ensure the highest quality presentation at game-sites
  • Promotes optimum staff performance by recruiting, training and coaching game site staff to the highest service standards
  • Assist with retail operations at the main retail location (84th St)
  • Assist with Championships and Hot Market Events as needed
  • Assist with Production floor as needed (heat pressing, order fulfillment, deliveries)
  • Develop and seek opportunities to enhance Lawlor’s Custom sales
  • Other duties as needed

WORK EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly working nights and weekends will be required

Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift boxes of merchandise independently up to 50 pounds

Travel to off-site locations using company vehicle or personal vehicle.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

College degree in Business, Sports Management, Communications, Accounting, other related fields or equivalent work experience.
