What I liked
Boyd Gaming was an AMAZING company to work for. They truly care about their employees and it shows. While I was an intern for the company, I was able to hear some of the top executives speak about their experience and give advice to those of us just starting our careers. We were encouraged to reach out to other departments and learn as much as we could from everyone, so I was able to shadow the legal department and it was insanely beneficial. I was assigned a mentor at the beginning of the summer and she covered so many topics on career advancement, education, and best practices. I am so thankful to have built a relationship with her that will hopefully carry on throughout my career. I participated in several development sessions on resume help, LinkedIn, and interviewing taught by the HR department. I cannot say enough good things about this company and my experience there. I highly recommend working for them if given the opportunity.
